In the wake of the #MeToo movement, I animated the devastating story of a friend who was a victim of rape. The animation was intended to create a pathway for healing for her and encourage others who have suffered from sexual violence to seek help and support. I animated the speaker in simple line form, removing the face and altering her voice to conceal her identity. I illustrated her story in the background as she is animated speaking in the foreground. She powerfully relays her story of resilience and hope in the midst of trauma.
